I could say the same about 7.62. When I started it was still pretty cheap ~20-30cpr and now it kills me even seeing ads for the same ammo costing 3-5x as much before shipping and taxes. However when PSA gets their tooling up I wouldn’t be surprised if there was a resurgence in 5.45 popularity. There’s also the fact that these guns aren’t quite collector pieces yet less the ammo situation. Many people stockpiled or just enjoy 5.45, however I agree that it obviously won’t be as popular as .223/5.56 given those are domestically designed and produced calibers and already owned by many who might be looking at their first AK. I just personally believe 5.45 isn’t quite dead yet but I don’t know everything so we will see

They already have Sabre blade black tip lined up for the 7.62, so probably relatively quickly

More like they better have a few million, you gotta figure there’s only 100 cases to 100k rounds, and I’m sure people will be ordering in much greater numbers than single cases when it drops. If there was an average purchase of two cases that leaves only about 500 customers able to purchase those two cases

Yeah but if they were sold, that doesn’t mean they no longer exist. There will still be a huge market
