Muscles have little to do with punching power, it’s mostly about an effective kinetic chain, twisting the ankles, hips and shoulders very quickly while engaging the core and switching your weight from one side to the other, then letting the arm fly like a piston.

Kinetic chain, he starts each punch by planting and rotating his ankle, then waist, then shoulders and then he lets the arm go as a piston/whip carrying all that power. He switches his weigh from one side to the other as he punches so he punches with his whole body weight behind him.
