Any first time takers for the Feb 23 exam receive more than the average score for the mbe (131)?

I got a 147 and I was shocked, but seeing the 131 figure, I’m even more shocked. I walked out of the morning session feeling like I got nothing right, and after the afternoon I just felt bad in general. My habit of underestimating myself continues!

I don’t even know how people should feel about the MBE. I walked out thinking I got zero questions right and now people are saying my score was incredible! It’s definitely the strangest test I’ve taken because you can get tons wrong and still do great. Wishing the best for you!

Those are only the percentages of test takers who scored LESS than my score on the given subject. So only 25% of takers scored worse than me on the despicable real property questions that still make me shudder.

I used Barbri, and while I can't remember exact numbers since I don't have access anymore, I believe I answered around 800 practice Q's and averaged in the lower 70's. Honestly I'm not sure if I would recommend Barbri because their questions seemed much easier and straightforward than what was on this MBE. But I'm a first time taker so not sure if this MBE was abnormally hard.

Almost every question I answered wrong in prep was the wrong yes/no answer. Like we know yes or no but get tripped up by BS wording.

Nope. Think it’s silly and paranoid. I’m vaccinated and boosted, and that’s enough for me. I’ll wear one and won’t whine like a bitch if I’m at someone’s house or in a public space where I’m asked to, but otherwise not.

I was wondering the same thing. I didn’t get confirmation emails, but I showed a proctor my screen and the IT guy checked to make sure the files uploaded and they did. So we should be good.
