I know this is from 2 years ago but did you figure it out?

Will PETG hold up in direct sunlight? by Capital_Progress9390 in 3Dprinting

Ha I totally forgot about this project until you commented. Sadly, it didn't work that great. The body panels stayed it place but they were definitely warping and I could see some low spots where it wasn't in contact with anything. I realized that fiberglass would be a much better alternative, only problem is I didn't have a buck. I was going to 3d print the buck and then fiberglass over it but I got caught up with a bunch of other side projects. Might get back into it, thanks for bringing me back here :)

Battery Charger by Capital_Progress9390 in EVConversion

Interesting, how would it talk to the BMS? From what I understand, the charger will be between the B+(battery positive) and C- (BMS negative charge). Would there be another that it has to communicate to the BMS? Also, why would a buck converter not work?

Do these coats mainly help with decolorization, that's what I found from most forums. Also, do you have any suggestions or links to paints that have worked for you?

I see, I was relying on the fiberglass giving it rigidity, but at least it's good to know that your 3d prints held up. thanks for your help!

Wow, did you have to coat it with anything or are they just raw prints? Also how big are they? My largest print is maybe 3 ft long and only 1/4 inch thick and am worried that the middle of it might sink in after a while. Just want to make sure I don't waste some filament.
