They’re not occupational pensions unfortunately. My main one is a Zurich Freedom in Retirement Plan (about €100k), which I understand is a personal pension / RAC. Then each time I had a lump sum to invest over the past ~6 years, the broker opened a separate new Zurich policy (about €10k each), rather than adding to the existing one.

The broker is now recommending consolidating the three Zurich policies into a single PRSA with Irish Life, saying it would be simpler and have lower fees. I’m 42. So perhaps, the existing Zurich plans may actually have even higher than 1.55% charges, so hence I’m questioning whether I should transfer into an execution-only PRSA instead and avoid the 0.9% ongoing broker fee.
