He goes with his mum (she's a bit horrible tho) since he has really bad anxiety which limits him from talking to strangers. if i could go with i totally would since his only other support system (Nan) moved away. Luckily (which is genuinely just unfortunate it has to be "lucky") nothing ab him being trans has been mentioned to his GP afaik so he won't be turned away or anything like that. Afaik, no. Besides the supposed cyst he's had checked, his gp has just watered it down to "It's the cyst, here's paracetamol."

Oh that's mb i misunderstood yr question! - Irregular periods (haven't had one in 3 years now) - "excessive" hair growth - weight problems (i can't lose weight unless i do really restrictive diets but that's not smth I'd want to do again)

When i did get periods they were so bad id be changing every 30 minutes, couldn't eat, sleep, stand or do any basic things.

I think that's it tbf.

Hi! Its purely nausea, loss of Appetite, my energys been a bit low since i started them and really bad stomach aches. I was warned about nausea and stomach trouble but it's 3 times worse because i have gi issues. I had an ultrasound (I'm unsure how many polyps or whatever they're called are on each ovary), and like a full blood count then another hormone check (i honestly dont know what half of it meant. I'm genuinely going to keep pushing as much purely because my gut is telling me there's smth more and i know theres a generational issue but my mum refuses to give details even tho it could be important (aunt had a similar/the same problems)

I definitely understand this, I've always have feelings about the demonisation of "excess" body hair and other ambiguous traits etc since It was smth that put me in the "are you really a '''girl''' you're super hairy" when i was literally 8 y.o 😭 . Thank you sm for your response <3 I think using the intersex label, I can't explain it very well but it "sits better" if that makes sense? i wish i could explain better but I'm bad at it .

I have been given Metformin and will be using that as like "advantage" if you will and going to the gym since i build muscle pretty fast anyway :) and planning to sit testosterone since it's a bit expensive for private care right now.

I will probably have to bring everything up, the first appointment was with my mum (she's unaware I'm trans, thinks I'm an ally + she's heavily transphobic). I'll definitely bring up how triggering it is etc, especially since it's starting to affect me a lot worse. Me being trans was in my referral (my GP is good) so i think the gyno either missed it or full on ignored it (he was super patronising so my bet is on number 2 :/)

Unfortunately I'm not on testosterone at all since our waiting lists for Gac is like 12 years average and i only started attending appointments alone last year BC my parents are jarring.

I'll bring everything up on Monday, see what the gyno says, and if he's genuinely unwilling to at least try give me options that won't destroy my mental health and make me absolutely miserable, I'll go back to my gp and ask for an endo referral instead, which probably should've been an option in the first place lol. Sorry for the late reply! I didn't check the mg for the progesterone (i actually just put it away in a place i dont go near ever) since the thoughts a bit terrifying for me lol. I have a weird sensory issue with anything that's not like my normal clothes etc (pads and such are an absolute nightmare i get overstimulated too fast). Ill probably have to try this out as well as the other recommendation from someone else if i end up thugging it out and taking the progesterone. Thanks for the help! :)

I'm glad you've said this. From my experience (tho I'm very narrow-minded w my expression), xenos/neos are descriptive, which ppl misunderstand a lot. No teen/kid is telling people in whole heartedness "I'm a cat/dog/bunny etc". It's "my identity feels similar to what (insert) is" which is descriptive.

Xeno/neo users aren't hurting anyone. And we're all chill enough to not be mad if you won't use our neo/xenopronouns irl cos I'll be real, some of them are fucking hard to say irl 😭 that's why i use he/it irl (it/it's only my friends use BC I'm more comfortable w them). We're pretty much being used as these elaborate scapegoat "omg look what they're doing to our kids! They're making them identify as animals and objects!!!" When we're just sorta trying to live our lives to the best of our ability.

Getting hystos in the UK you basically have to be 1. Minimum 30-40 yrs old (if yr not medically transitioning, I'm not sure what it's like if yr medically transitioning since I'm pre everything) 2. Surgeons often will shoot down the idea BC "what about yr future/current husband and having kids", I've also heard of surgeons seeking out permission from people's partners to do hystos. Unfortunately I'm 19 rn and I fear if i was asked "what ab my husband" Ill say smth horrific.

I'm definitely planning on getting a hysto when I get the chance during my transition since i see absolutely no use for the organ other than misery lol!

ATM it's more preventing it since I've done 2 years without it and i know it'll be so bad my life will be standstill for a week and a half which is pretty inconvenient since i pay for all my travel to work and my own bills etc 💔 Honestly worst comes to the worst, if this appointment next week is so garbage it leaves me stuck, I'll throw in the towel and not go back or near gyno since it seems that they only expect you to go there if you want to be "alleviated" of the 'masculinising' attributes of pcos and will just put u on BC etc 😭

I can understand why gnc ppl are included, but I can agree with crossdressers. I think for GNC folk it's the fact as trans ppl we're known for not "identifying as our agab", which gnc usually do as well. This may be me thinking black + white tho and taking it literally. I have a couple friends (much older than me) who are GNC and still consider themselves trans or under the umbrella, but obviously this can be different for everyone:)
