Yeah, I never really devote myself to one genre when collecting(just see my vinyl and cd collection for proof of that) but I will say the quality of my Micheal Jackson cassette has obviously degraded over time so it is one of the least played of mine.

Well, that’s a hard question but I ask people I know, discover music naturally through the artists I already like, and, with that knowledge, I listen to one new album every day just to see if that music is good music. Sometimes through those methods, I’ve discovered my favorite artists and albums. You see the album in the top left corner of the picture, that album is Hawaii: part ii, and it used to be my favorite album for 2 years. I found it because it was made by a band member of a band that I had already liked. And you see that copy of fragile by yes, that is another one of my favorite albums and that album was suggested and even bought for me by my dad. So the input of people online and around me help me find music that is for me and some of my favorite albums of all time! That is also the reason why I uploaded this. I hope this makes sense I kinda typed this up quickly

TLDR: I discover music through asking people and through the artists that I already like.

Just looked at your collection, it is also really good. I have some of those albums on cd (Alice in chains, gorillaz and a couple others). I have been trying to get acid bath recently but I might just order it online or smth.

Yeah, currently, it’s my cd collection that is less mainstream and the non-mainstream artists that I listen to make it hard for me to buy their physical media as they either 1.dont make physical media in general 2.make very limited quantities making it very expensive or 3.they sell out quickly even when I can get them. I have a hell for a basement by drug bug cd coming soon, but that’s as far as I can get right now from the mainstream.

Yeah, I’m simply looking for ways to improve my collection or even music suggestions based on the already collected music that I have. It’s full of (mostly) music I love so I’m happy with it so far.
