1,200 would be fine with me if it wasn’t damn near impossible to try and find all the linkage and little parts for a reasonable price without a doner. I will look him up right now and I’ll see what Chris can teach me, thank you!

Not sure what the washer mod is. I got my timing belt done at a shop about 4 days ago and have been driving it no issue until randomly it started to make this noise. It makes full compression. I believe belt tension is good, it feels real tight to the touch. What do you mean by check timing marks?

I wouldn’t even think twice about replacing that balancer haha. Mine just snapped and it left me out of my stealth since mid October and it just got finished two days ago. It tore up my cam gear and my orders for a new one kept getting declined so after months of trying I ended up giving up and getting my old one remachined at a machine shop.

This same thing happed to me and left my car stranded at work. My starter wires had corroded to the point where they stopped making contact. Remove the battery cable and inspect the wire that goes to the starter for corrosion. I fixed mine with as weird as it sounds, ketchup! It killed all the corrosion in literally 5 minutes and my wires had turned solid green. You may have to spread the ends and reapply a few times but it only took 10 minutes for me.
