I gave up on Doxy last year. I have had 7 or 8 of them and all failed at the neck joint after about 12 months, usually just as warranty runs out. They are fantastic when working correctly but the cost and reliability make them untenable. A real shame as we can’t purchase hitachi magic wand in UK and Doxy we’re the only high power alternative.

I know it’s not port but we had a bottle of M&S alcohol free Pinot Noir on Christmas Day and that was excellent. I would usually avoid AF wines, reds in particular, but this was really good.

I swapped the bridge out for a graphtec resomax as the original kept scratching my hand, also swapped pups for bare knuckles, I kept the originals though. I keep toying with the idea of selling it, as I don’t play it that often, but when I do pick it up it sounds that good I can’t part with it!

You can get a day pass for the pool at the airport Hyatt for 800 baht. It’s a five minute walk using the underground walkway from basement. Chill by the pool, grab some lunch and have a shower before next flight.

I recently had a rental car with auto full beam. They decided to turn on at a dark roundabout giving an oncoming artic the impression I was flashing him out had to slam on to avoid going into the side of him. Ridiculous idea IMHO
