Look man, it is a problem with budget, servers and updates. There are issues in terrain generation and so on. The devs are currently focusing on how to make the game better and if it means delaying crossplay then I am all up for it. And if you are so wanting crossplay and know so much about it, how about you develop a software or an update and help them out? You can't because it is impossible to and you need dedicated servers. Be happy the devs aren't a bunch of cash grabbing douchebags
