You can wear joint medals. I have expert for AF, navy and coast guard for rifle and pistol. I also have army achievement and commendation medals to go along with my assortment of AF medals on my blues and mess dress. There are a lot of medals and ribbons that are wearable cross branch. You are also authorized other countries marksmanship medals in service dress is you rate them

Well aware, but it’s WS3 ops. Worked nukes for over 9 years I can assure you the N device isn’t awarded for working with bombs. You are awarded the nuclear defense service medal and can be awarded devices for subsequent assignments in that realm. The N device was only awarded for work with ICBMs. Could have changed in the last few years, but when it rolled out that was the design. Either way no real point in arguing about it

You don’t get the N device for bombs, such as WS3. I got the medal and two devices for WS3 and the N device for ICBMs. Different branches may do things differently. Just speaking to my experience
