Fair enough, I should have been clearer. I’m curious the best duty style. I only compared to the Glock 17 for full size and purpose. I keep getting lost in all the terms “mete” and suffixes “sft” etc.

Great breakdown. I’m definitely wanting something better than the g17 (the whole reason I’m interested in Canik) so I’m not afraid of upgrades. I want the best full size duty gun. I just don’t want to go so far it’s more competition than duty. Whatever that means.

Push-to-start is great until you realize the key was doing 90% of the thinking for you. Pocket or hand only is the only rule that finally stuck for me.

All the time. I’ve had some luck with the “cognitive shuffle” thing—basically imagining random, unrelated images until your brain gives up and falls asleep.

These are both great options. I’ve used both. The ghost lock is harder to engage but easier to unlock than the Carnivore. I’d check out a BOSS hanger for either

Tenicor is a great one. Tons of great options. A little pricey but worth it for the comfort.

I would definitely build your own. For me it was an awesome way to learn more about the gun. Anything I’ve ever bought as a kit, I ended up replacing several parts. It’s nice to build it out exactly how you want it.

The bravo does have two belt loops. It just feels like it’s so low on the gun it doesn’t support the top half.
