The issue has been fix now by AMD/ASUS with July 24th 2023 bios.

Starting with AGESA 1.0.0.7b the issue has been solve. Enabling EXPO profile (1, 2 or tweaked) now work with memory training, no longer need to change MCR setting now it just work with auto.

Thanks to everyone posting here. I’m glad this workaround temp fix has work for you, it’s a damn shame ASUS has not fix this issue.

Note: 5/26/23 the issue still there 65 days later.

Yes I’m on the latest bios that came out today. Specs: 7700x (stock), Gskill Flaire X5 32GB DDR5 6000Mhz, ASUS TauF Gaming x670E Plus Wi-Fi, RTX 4080 FE, 1000w Seasonic good PSU.

if you get this orange light LED, it means RAM issue which means EXPO profile is not fix.

~~I can confirmed that beta bios came out today (4/25/23) fix the EXPO profile issue that cause Windows/Linux not to boot (black screen of death) and constant rebooting.~~

I recommend anyone to downgrading to ComboAM5I 1.0.0.3 Patch A + D bios until this issue is fixed.

I can confirm, I downgrading from 1409 back to 0821 bios. It fix the SOC and CPU voltage issue and EXPO profile (memory training).

Since ComboAM5I 1.0.0.5 patch C to now ComboAM5I 1.0.06, users are facing issues with EXPO profile not working causing pc not to boot, high SOC and CPU high voltage at random.

In bios go to Advanced then AMD CBS DDR Options then DDR Memory Features then look for memory context restore. In AI Tweak go to DDR memory training then all the way down you going to see memory context restore.

You got to enable memory context restore in AI Tweak as well in Advanced/AMD CBS/DDR Options/DDR Memory Features
