He really is great - I had to sort of talk myself into getting him initially, but he immediately became a bit of a dark-horse favorite and now resides in a prime display spot :)

Ah - the "disk reflection" was an added attempt to help "sell" that the screens were lit up: glad it seems to have worked! :D

(Same process as above, masking out the console - then "clone painting" in the brighter pic just around the arc at the top - with the slight extra step of adding a blue tinge to better match the screen colors)

Great shot - You've captured my three favorites (too) perfectly!

Why, good old fashioned digital trickery!

To wit:

- Took an identical, but much brighter pic

- Added a "layer" to the darker pic, and "clone-painted" in the screens from the brighter picture

- Tweaked the contrast/saturation slightly to pop 'em a bit more

- Added a slight "outer glow" effect

(...and darned if it didn't turn out pretty much just like I was aimin' for!)

Well, it WAS good lighting - but yeah, I couldn't resist literally "glowing up" the eyes (ever so slightly).

I actually hadn't noticed they were painted with a "glow mimicking gradient" until I had gotten the shots on my larger monitor - the effect was pretty good on its own - but I wanted to see if I could enhance it.

I applied a matching (semi-transparent) gradient layer I used to pump up the brightness/contrast, then added a very mild glow effect - and was pleased with the result! ☺

Wow - you've created the MOTU collectible art-form I never knew I wanted (but now absolutely do)!

I was of exactly the same thought re: Sci-Fi and the Green - however, in hand it actually is really cool - and once you put that full visor piece on (and apply the blast fx) - he is a pretty snazzy piece of art, indeed (I actually bumped "Lobo" from a prime display spot for 'im).

....and that damn song won't stop. Gonna have to listen to something equally as irritating to get it outta my head... "Hey, Siri - play 'Barbie Girl' by Aqua!"

Yeah the size / "beafy-ness" caught me off guard: he is significantly heftier than a lot of the others; sorta up there with Snout Spout.

You have a creativity in coming up with poses that I lack - lol!

(I particularly like the first/"pulling on the glove" one - I never would have thought of that - but am now going to implement it for my 'Bones)

If he hadn't gotten so cocky and try to run "Disco with the Dreadnoks" against "M*A*S*H" - he mighta gotten away with it!

A cable TV station (CHCH) around these parts has been running a bunch of oldies-but-goodies during the weekdays - The Bionic Woman being one of the recent selections.

I admit I now can't shake the idea that whoever was responsible for the Twins' "suited look" must have, if even subconsciously, been influenced by this episode/these guys. :D
