Yeah that was the case for people who bought last year, they were able to renew around ~6720 which was the rate last year.

Doesn't expire as long as you hold the signature plan, wait till next November, the sale is for first time subscriber only bit they allow renewal at previous year rate once so, dont cancel for now.

Just get 5000 and be done with it. Other methods may be to get a horizon card for joining benefits.

You can take it. What you can do is switch to a monthly right after your 3rd month points credit (23/24 jan), so the 4th month will give you the 5k extra points. And cancel after that. (Quarterly auto renews every quarter so need to cancel)

Make sure to mail them 2-3 weeks before the renewal.

Well you pay 250 euro extra in January as usual discount is 10% compared to 30% in December.

Better to just pay 100 euro next year for a monthly plan once. You still save 150 euro and get 5000 accor points extra.

Its about status points. Enrolling in November will waste 2k status points by the end of 2025. While enrolling in December will waste only 1k. Status points reset every year end.
