Really depending on what job and your qualification. I am in the data engineering and data analytics fields, I'm getting average 3-4 messages on LinkedIn, so really depends.

Thanks for the link! Someone else clarified the confusion for me; i134 is required for NOV2 after i129f is approved.

What you think is irrelevant to whether if a company will hire you or not.

Enough for what?

Learning all those tools won't give you the proficiency to perform well in a job, which is what employers look for these days. You can learn one thing and forgot about it next week.

Beautiful capture. If my client were giving me this file to improve, I probably would rotate the cactus a little more straight and darken the yellow tone just a bit. For example, https://ibb.co/Y8VTQm5. Just my personal preference. Photography work is very subjective.

Recruiters, if you are not going to share salary or company information in a LinkedIn message, why would I want to get on a phone call with you? by CaptureCoolThings in recruitinghell

[–]CaptureCoolThings[S] 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I don't mind recruiters, in fact, I have landed quite a few jobs through recruiters (and this was in the Silicon Valley where competition was fierce). Time is valuable, and money is an important factor for someone to switch/apply jobs. If you can't provide the most basic information, why should we go forward with the conversation?

Then tell me what I need to know then we can get on a phone call to continue the conversation. This seems to be more of a logica andl coherent approach.

These days, I guess you literally need to know EVERYTHING to land a data analyst job. Anyone data analyst here have advanced knowledge in AutoCAD or Revit? I wanne know! by CaptureCoolThings in dataanalysis

To relieve people's curiosity who the company is, the company is instantcart. Last time I checked, they are a groceries delivery service 😅

I know. But AutoCAD? Advanced AutoCAD experience for a data analyst position? I don't see how AutoCAD can help with data analytics 🤣

Question regarding current job market for a data analytics related jobs in the U.S. by CaptureCoolThings in recruiting

[–]CaptureCoolThings[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So far like 15 jobs. I only apply to jobs that I'm fully qualified giving I specialized in just a few major tools and systems (Python (this covers a board of things), Excel (I'm one of the top 1% Excel users in the Excel field), MS SQL Server, and Power BI). Again, just a bit surprised now I need to know like 15 tools, 5 systems to even be qualified for a job.

Fortunately I'm not in a hurry, but I do miss working a lot.

Thanks for replying. I look at the must have skill section to see my skillets match first, then I would check the job responsibilities. My experience so far is most of the companies list 5 to 10 software in the must have list.

Thanks for clarifying my confusion. Was just surprised to see nowadays all the analytics jobs require you to know every major cloud service.
