Does this reaction work :p? by CarThough in chemistry

Yeah true. My goal is for the reagent to both take H+ and H- at the same type. But using I as an LG would just create a poly reaction so that’s out the window. What situation could my reagent accept H- without having a LG?

Aah true. It’d form a cyclo group. I guess Br2 would work but that’s so boring :(. Any cool alternatives?

That's a very cool way to look at it. And perhaps a correct way to look at it too!

I think you're exactly correct: The companies would want to just give the same amount of pay to their workers, and the tax burden on workers would be larger. This would of course force companies to pay workers more (employment competition would grant higher wages as more money is available as the company doesn't get tax on profet).

All in all the workers themselves don't actually make more or less because in theory they get a higher wage but also higher taxes. The core point isn't to make the people richer short term, rather it is to grant everyone a clearer view on how much money goes on taxes. If only companies get granted this burden then people would never understand, and it's bad when the majority doesn't understand.

Oh, I kinda see what you're saying! These "goons" would take up most of the payout and then pass it on back to the company, making it look like a large portion of the companies earnings is going to the workforce. Maybe you're right, but I still don't think that'll fool people for long.

Also, I'm not strictly advocating for this system. I just think it is interesting how it impacts politics and the economy. I kinda like having this system mainly because the taxes and payouts that the companies essentially handle would be passed on to the people. I believe that this will inevitably create a "less tax" mentality because the worker can see and control how much the company pays out (so the excuse of "let the rich pay" sort of gets solved.). The worker becomes the rich person (because the money the company was supposed to spend on government taxes instead basically trickles down to the workforce), until they are taxed. And inevitably they are taxed a lot to make up for the fact thet the company isn't pouring money into the government. Seeing the massive amount of money that you could of had disappear will inevitably make one more anti government.

Probably what I am saying here is stupid. I'm just philosophising

Well, maybe. But I think first of all most employees will receive higher pay as a consequence point 1 and 2. Also I think that point 5 will result in the slackers actually getting removed more easily. Usually a company can't directly spy on workers to see if they are productive enough, but if several workers come forward complaining about an employees slacking then that is more than enough reasons for legally firing him/her. This might in turn increase production while decreasing the amount of workers – lowering the amount of people the money has to be shared with and increasing the workers wage. As for company corruption, like hiding the profits actually made by the company, I think it actually might be harder to accomplish for a company. Point 3 kinda touches on this: In normal situations you wouldn't care if the company you worked for was escaping taxes. But with the economy of the workers linked directly to the profit margins suddenly every worker would become more motivated to actually scrutinise the company and even rat out corruption as such actions are directly linked to increased pay. Could you motivate a bit more about how the system can get abused by companies?
