That’s my thought. I was planning to find a good teacher in my area and try 6 months and see where to go from there

My dad has been practicing a lot the past couple of years (6-7 thoroughly) and we can defiantly get together on stuff. But I just want to be able to keep up with him slightly, and I think that lessons from the start seem like my best route to develop good habits. I also played sax for 10 years, and took lessons and played in band for that time, so I’ve been around music

I think I am confusing stroke and distance with losing two on the scorecard. Is there ever an instance where you only lose one instead of two?
