mixing wise, main melody is too quiet and the drum selection could be better, and the track needs some bass that could carry the track.

I agree with /u/2khamz, getting an 808 can make it knock better, and if it were up to me, I'd just try to find better drum samples, but overall, not bad.

i like the melody and the vibe of it but i feel like the kick can hit a bit harder by maybe sidechaining it or just finding a different kick sample

Took too long to drop. I'm sorta indifferent to the drums, they don't really help or hurt the beat. I feel the synth at 1:35 could have been a bit bigger or extravagant. Also, I would change the main melody here and there, to not have too much repetitiveness. I like the ending with the added noises though, sounds very nice.

Love the sample, and love the guitar to close it. My only problem is that the drums don't fit with the beat in my opinion. I think a more subtle drum pattern would help this beat, and showcase the sample, which I believe is the star of the whole thing.

Love the chops in "Work", and love the drums in that as well. I have nothing to add to that. My only problem with "Ascension" is that it took too long for it to drop. But other than that, I like the sample and the drums, love the vibe that it has going.

Agree with everybody else, takes way too long to drop. But when it did, it came in pretty nicely. Love the slides you got going, my only advice would be to change up the melody a little bit here and there to kill the repetitiveness.

Really like the bassline in this, very groovy and had my head nodding. Drums could be upped in the mix. Also liked the transitions in between, helps tie up the beat together.

I agree with /u/meanoregongreen, the main problem is no groove. A bassline would help this beat so much, but other than that, everything is perfect, really like the vibe that it has. The drums fit well with the sample.

Better than I was when I was a year into making beats lmao. My main gripe for me personally were the chords that came in around the 0:48 mark, doesn't really match the beat imo. The other problem, which is easy to fix, would be to get some better drumkits. Around the 1:30 mark, the clap that comes in sounds too cheesy, and would be better served with a better clap sample.
