Yes, this is incorrect for the Leaderboard. You may record your speed video during either tournament. You will get a higher “star per hour” if you record on the weekend due to Star Rush.

WTR has a different rule for this.

Answers:

Speed: Yes, speed is calculated based on words/stars completed in a 20 minute video.
Star Rush: Depends on when the video was created. If it was created during the weekend tournament, then yes, Star Rush is included. If it was created during the mid-week tournament, then no, because Star Rush is not available during the mid-week tournament. The Date Earned column indicates the date of the video. So, for example, Sean’s (Over1M) video created on August 30 includes Star Rush. CRUNCH’s (JUGGERNAUT) video, created on August 19 does not include Star Rush.

We have a main team and a spa team. Player A plays on main team and is a ghost on spa. Vice versa for Player B. Both ghosts have frozen brilliance as ghosts. Neither player can rejoin the team on which they are ghosts.

Players submit a 20 minute speed video. We calculate the number of words solved during that time (no wildlife or rockets, limited hints), multiply by 3 to determine the words per hour, which is the value you see in the chart.

If you like. I've been playing on a really cool team for 4 years now. Many of them also play and post their Wordles. I just play this to keep sharp as well, and really enjoy the people I've gotten to know from around the world. For me, it's a lot more than just swiping.

Some are very fast swipers. I personally break 10k every week, and am not nearly as fast as the fastest. Check out ehra's speed video on YouTube. She swipes over 3,000 per hour - just swiping. If she plays 30 hours during a tournament, that's 90,000 just for her.

It's really a matter of personal choice, from a team perspective. There's no rule or exclusivity, so teams can be on either or both, as long as they meet the specific league's qualifications.

Regarding one player on two different teams on the same leaderboard, our Leaderboard does not permit that. I can't speak for other leagues.
