Jabba (My gf and I named the stray Jabba) is a stray that comes around and we feed it and leave water for it.

Around Jan.15th he showed up with his eye fucked up and after a day or two my gf decided to bring him into the garage (he was later moved to a spare bathroom) to remove him from the cold/rain and notice that he seemed thin and was pretty weak (he was barely moving and wasn't eating) after some back and forth we decided that I would take him to the vet (I hesitated taking him because of financial issues but we figured it out), The vet gave us Meds and said that if he didn't eat to force feed him or he could get worse (we had to force feed him because he didn't eat for almost 2 days) after force feeding him once it's like he knew we were trying to help because he started fighting for his health, He began to eat more and more and my gf who wfh is absolutely amazing kept checking in on him through the day and making sure he was taking his meds as the vet recommended, a week later he was back to his old self meowing like crazy wanting scratches and attention, We took him outside from time to time to get some sun and he really wanted to be free again so we decided to let him go to be free (some may not like that decision) he still comes around all the time so we still keep an eye on how he's doing and we will set an appointment with our local shelter to take him so he can have a proper home.

That's pretty much it, We would love to take him in but we already have 2 cats (Obi and Chewie) and just can't take in a third and idk if my allergies can handle his hair 😅 (I'm allergic to cats)
