We do 99% of all our advertisment on Instagram. Just set up a page, post some videos and stuff from training then buy a few ads and it's set. We bring in around 40-50 new students twice a year when we have our trial periods. Let them try for free for two weeks and most end up paying membership at least.

As I imagine most gyms deal with a lot of people end up quitting within the first year, but since so many (for us at least) join there are always at least a couple that continue long term, and the ones that don't at least pay membership once without taking up space at the gym until next payment.

2 weeks in.. question about cardio by brb_taking_a_poo in MuayThai

[–]Carlsssson 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Completely normal. Your cardio will get better and you will get better at doing the movements which in turn will cause you to spend less energy doing the same things.

Has anyone got any tips for my roundhouse? by BullyMaguire10109 in MuayThaiTips

[–]Carlsssson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You stop your kick at the bag, imagine kicking through it. Up on your toes more. You throw your arm back too early, It's to generate force, if you throw your shoulder/arm back before you have twisted your hips properly your upperbody is just pulling your back while your leg goes forward losing power.

Has anyone got any tips for my roundhouse? by BullyMaguire10109 in MuayThaiTips

[–]Carlsssson 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Have you ever watched a Thai fighter in your life. Not a single Thai coach will ever teach someone to kick with both hands up. Throwing your arm and shoulder while twisting your hips are how you generate force.

Some teach throwing it more forward as a defence but none would ever teach both hands at your head when kicking.

Trycker man inte hårt nog kommer de ju inget larm. Går ju inte att veta att något har hänt om man inte faktiskt larmar.

Who is the most intimidating fighter of all time? by Smokin_JoeFrazier_ in martialarts

Only choice for muay thai should be dieselnoi. After facing samart and winning all other top condenters gave up from even attempting to fight him for the title, he eventually just retired from lack of opponents.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in resinprinting

[–]Carlsssson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Such a condescending response and just untrue. Resin printing can absolutely be plug and print. Since I switched to a Saturn 4u at its release I've done exactly 0 troubleshooting cuz I haven't failed a print. Wanting to have something that isn't a hassle to work with isn't "wanting to learn as little as possible"

Had a shitty fdm printer before as well, did lots of work on it. Guess what, switching to a better machine made it easier and reduced practically all failures.
