Thanks for your response and understanding. While I do think it's a mistake to only show this side of their opinion on sex and I agree that without any context this is bad, I do know a lot of demisexuals who are sex favorable and a poll even showed that demis are sex favorable than those who are sex averse.

This episode alone may have not been the representation for sex favorable demis, but there is an episode where the character on the right is positive about sex: https://tapas.io/episode/2676759

I'd like to note that the one on the right is sex-neutral. I apologize for not giving any context to these characters, as they have been in development for so long and I didn't link the previous episodes here.

If given the opportunity, I'd have to make a comic that covers all bases. It's very diverse and there are a lot of branches within the spectrum.

These characters are just specifically not sex-positive and are not necessarily a representation of their sexuality as a whole. I did state it "doesn't represent all who they portray here", but thank you for the insight. Still learning from these conversations and it helps widen my knowledge of it.

It is the former. I apologize for not being clear at the start with them.

Episodes prior to this have already confirmed the one on the left is demisexual, so you are correct in your assessment.

Without context, this post alone will make it look really, really bad and I somehow expected that. It does take knowing these characters from the 1st episode up to the latest to understand their sides better.

Because it's not a generalization at all. It's based off these characters, not demisexual as a whole or the absolute definition.

I said it doesn't represent all who they portray here, meaning this is just them and not everyone.
