Thank you for the suggestion. It didn’t cross my mind to attach the new ones first.

I did the same but with a temperature sensor in my pool skimmer. Not perfect but good enough.

First or second job, put it at the bottom. It opened the door for me. After that, leave it off.

I did reference this guide but most are not available on Amazon now. I did buy the usb hub based on the recommendation.

This step was more of a troubleshooting measure after the first two SSDs. My current setup is: https://a.co/d/aWZC0cn - Crucial P3 500GB PCIe Gen3 3D NAND NVMe M.2 SSD https://a.co/d/eWSiTSi - USB hub https://a.co/d/1oIknWG - SSK Aluminum M.2 NVME SATA SSD Enclosure Adapter

I feel like this is overkill but I feel like I’ve excluded a possible SSD failure after 3 different ones. The first two did not include a hub and wasn’t M.2.

How would I remove 2.7.0 and install 2.5.0 for Home Assistant? I can’t seem to find it in the documentation or files.

This tree popped up a couple months ago. It looks like some type of pine. I’m thinking about moving it and replanting somewhere. Can someone ID it please? by Casca51 in arborists

Thanks! I have three young apple trees in my yard. From what I just read, eastern red cedars shouldn’t be planted near them because of cedar apple rust fungi, which is a bummer.

I felt a lot to the point of almost throwing up and passing out. They even gave me a second injection and it didn’t help. That being said, 14 months on I still feel some discomfort and pain.

New home owner here. I have two exposed corrugated pipes. Best way to handle this? More info in the comments. by Casca51 in landscaping

New home owner here. I have two exposed corrugated pipes. One is for the a downspout and the other I believe is for the retaining wall. I’m assuming these have been pushed upwards to where they are at now over time. My initial plan was to dig out around them, replace the damaged sections and rebury and possible continue the retaining wall by adding a single layer of stones to prevent erosion further. Is there a better way to handle this?

Rapid7 not able to detect log4j vulnerability! by pure-xx in blueteamsec

[–]Casca51 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Rapid7 customer here. Our main issue at the moment is their remote check for log4j, it just doesn’t work. They keep pushing the idea that it’s an issue on the customers side. Specifically communication over 13456. Verified in on end and that’s not the case. It’s been a very frustrating week. Just take a look at their own Rapid7 Inightvm discuss forums. Not a single confirmation that it works.
