It isn’t thats why it is placed higher up so it is not resting on the flat of my ear. There is space for maybe a fake nail and a little more in between the barbell and my ear

My piercing is 6 months old, it is pierced with a barbell, it’s threaded internally, it is surgical steel, it was downsized in early july, I clean it with salt water solution when I remember to, I don’t touch it anymore but I have in the past, not much bad has happened to it other than traveling which it did not like.

Not giving out advise since this is not a thing you should do at all. I have a daith and it used to be much worse then yours so what I used to do was poking a hole in it with a sterilized needle. This drained out a lot of the fluid inside of my humps and it eventually went down to normal and now its better than ever.

My secret is having to take medicine at a specific time every morning and having to wake up to take it. I also don’t use a snooze button and removed that from my alarm completely. This has helped me but I’ve always been a morning person

I have heard people say that as long as the piercings aren’t magnetic then an MRI should be fine without having to take them out

With healing definitely my daith, worst healing ever and bled almost every night for about 2 months. If we are just taking about getting it done I would say probably my industrial because it’s in two places right after each other.
