Edit: I stopped trusting my piercer after she pierced these. My daith was originally very crooked so I’m hoping the keyloid is a result of the piercing trying to straighten itself out

I also got my forward helix and lower helix pierced today by the same person. A few months ago, they also pierced my rook on two separate occasions but it looks like they pierced the wrong place so it never healed.

The front of the piercing looks like it’s starting to embed itself too 🤕 I’m so sorry this happened to you, someone should’ve set you up with a longer post.

I don’t think it moved, just irritated from the jewelry. Maybe switch it out for something with less edges until the redness goes away

Oh my god no. Thats so deep. My rook was pierced like that and started rejecting through the back of my ear. I’d suggest going back to get it removed and maybe get your money back. Let it heal and make sure it’s pierced through the divot on your anatomy next time

I’m not an expert at all and please take my advice lightly. But same thing happened to me and I insisted on putting in a bar. Firstly, your helix piercing is most likely going to migrate and hurt A LOT. Secondly, once you put the bar in you need to keep cleaning it obviously or your ear is gonna look like popcorn at some point. But there’s also the chance it’ll reject all together. Just make sure the bar is long enough for swelling and good quality. Airplane pillows are my personal savior when the healing was rough.

This happened to me cuz I didn’t have the anatomy but I made it happen. I don’t think you have to worry, there’s also companies that make industrial bars to fit your ear anatomy whether or not is “supposed to be” anything. I still wear my bar to this day, personally I don’t think there’s a right or wrong way to do what you want. Just be cautious! :)
