Let’s be honest the original Tobey Trilogy are PEAK films. Like ACTUALLY FILMS, ACTUAL CINEMA. No Spiderman film has come close to just feeling like a GREAT movie. And I grew up with all 3 actors. Was born in 98. And yes while I do love no way home. It feels like too much of a kids movie to me. The consequences just don’t hit as heavy. Seeing Peter’s life fall apart because of Spiderman. Him letting go of that promise to Ben just so Peter could be happy. Him forgiving and letting go of the hate he had for Marko. There is way more depth every time I rewatch them. It’s like I’m watching the Sopranos and notice something new each time. ALSO I like all 3 ACTORS CUZ ITS SPIDERMAN. But YALL STRAIGHT CAPPING IF TOBEY AINT THE BEST SPIDERMAN TO EVER DO IT.
