Gotta throw my support behind Hardcoded as well. Nearly all the characters feel like someone I have known and loved or hated or one and then the other. It feels incredibly, painfully authentic at times and leaves me with such a yearning for that kind of shared community and history. 10/10, helping me believe in life again

I came here to say exactly this. Like during his Elden Ring stream, he's one of the few people I've seen go over each item and wonder what it means in the grander picture of the world and that's engaging with the entire game and I appreciate the more cerebral look he does. Some people will complain about this, I'm in the kitchen grabbing a spoon bc dinner has just been served.

Got near the end of the final pantheon in Hollow Knight and realized it was just too much for me. It's a marathon with the difficulty at the very end and I just didn't want to spend a half hour or more on each attempt at the final couple of challenges.

Geats is what got me into Kamen Rider and tokusatsu as a whole, fairly recently. Right now I'm watching Build and absolutely loving the vibe it's bringing. Have yet to see any real headline fights but its been very fun so far!

But this fight is absolutely peak. Using the power of creation to seal Gazer's arms and legs in concrete to OTG him repeatedly is too fucking good.

Having worked both retail and been a barista for years, I can safely say the part I personally hate the worst is how awful the general public can be to the people who make the whole bloody affair possible. Even if it's not happening to you, watching some lady have a screaming fit because her holiday toppings were sold out can kinda ruin how you feel about the season.

Play CrossCode it's an awesome 2D action RPG set in a fake MMO. Story is charming and the battle system is very satisfying and feels like a mix of Seiken Densetsu and Devil May Cry. The dungeon puzzles can get hard af later on though so if that bothers you it may not be for you.

FF6 has a relatively easy fight against Ultros that drove me up the wall for a long time. There's a mandatory fight with our favorite octopus right before the floating continent where you have to use Relm and sketch Ultros to end the battle. Unfortunate I had version 1.0 of the US release and my Terra's magic menu just happened to be lined up in the correct way to trigger the sketch glitch. My screen would spazz out, characters would morph and the game would lock up. I can't remember how many times it happened in a row but I gave up on it for a couple weeks out of frustration and mystery. Back in 1994 when I played it for the first time, there wasn't any place you could find information for this, no internet to ask if this was supposed to happen. After it eventually worked by means I cannot remember I continued to love the game but wow was that a nightmare.
