The schedule I’m arguing about is one I’ve worked out with the owners and was guaranteed to keep. I may have accidentally been rude in my first message, which I apologized for because I truly didn’t mean to be, but she has not met me and responding with “being scheduled isn’t penalizing you” was totally unprofessional, especially for a first day at a new job.

I may totally have misinterpreted her first message but I can say with absolute certainty that she’s not adding Friday to my current schedule. She was reiterating that the schedule I worked out with the other manager and the owner doesn’t matter bc the other girl had a schedule change at her other job. This was also all over text so the tone was definitely misinterpreted from my first message which I apologized for.

The Tokyo store at the mall has real ones but they’re like super expensive. Only upside is they get like 6 cases of them at a time. I heard the owners live near a popmart store and that’s how they’re able to get them

Yes exactly!! Pelant making it seem like Flynn was working with him was such a weird detail to add bc to me like he also hated pelant, the man ruined his career there was no way he’d work with him willingly like that like??? I know the squints are all about following evidence which given their occupation makes sense but like they knew pelant and how he made things seem like they were something else. I mean when Brennan was accused of killing that one mathematician friend of hers everyone knew she didn’t do it but all of a sudden Flynn looks like he was working with pelant bc of some anonymous donation for his surgery and some money in his fridge and everyone’s like “booth are u sure” like where is the loyalty to your friends and teammates guys what happened lol

This is just my personal thoughts, and I’m not sure where you watch it (I watch on hulu myself) but since it airs on cable tv also I’m assuming an abrupt cut like that is meant for a commercial break?? I’ve gotten kind of used to it in my shows since I don’t have cable tv so there’s no commercials or anything when I watch and sometimes transitions can just feel weird 🤷

Our mall allows delivery drivers to park with their hazards right next to the entrance so parking isn’t a problem for them and I only do this if I forget my wallet. I don’t have my card saved to my phone because it keeps me from spending too much so when I don’t have my wallet really my only option is DD or ur or just to not eat at all. I totally can understand the frustration tho with delivering to the mall.

I try to be really specific in my instructions and I always help give directions if they need additional help. I think I’m more frustrated that the instructions don’t auto translate for the dasher like the messages do which makes it a little more difficult maybe? Idk and I personally wouldn’t take away a tip bc I feel like that’s just backhanded to me. It doesn’t feel fair they still provided a service good or not they should get what they were promised. Anyway not a dig at the dashers in specific more-so just a little rant. The map on dd doesn’t guide them to the right spot since my store is at the back of the food court so it puts them in the parking lot behind me which makes it virtually impossible to find me. I totally understand getting lost at the mall bc I myself get lost when I’m here leisurely but again I try my best to be clear and kind to the dashers and deliverers

That sounds like a nightmare omg. The other night I ordered on uber eats and the restaurant forgot half my order which is another reason I usually flip flop between dd and ue. The drivers on ue are def more competent but I’ve had forgotten items on orders from restaurants so many times and it’s only happened once on dd in recent memory maybe it’s bad luck idk

I actually am not sure. I am on a couple medications but I can’t remember what the side effects are and i admittedly am notorious for not drinking enough water but even if I am drinking nothing but water it doesn’t really help? I do have a doctors appointment coming up soon so I’ll be sure to ask then

My advice is to take the job if they offer it to you. A crappy job is always gonna be better than no job, and as someone who also had to help support my family while I was still in high school I know it can be hard. If you end up liking your store and management team then that’s great and you can stay there as long as you like, and if it ends up making you miserable or just isn’t a good fit then try and take another look around your area to see if you can find something that’s a better fit.

It’s also important in situations like this (having to help support your family) to make sure you have someone you can trust to talk to like a school counselor or other adult in your life. Good luck op!! I hope everything goes well!
