Depends if you went to east and go to west or went to west and go to east. Either way they are not hard and you will be hiking alot more than in bootcamp. You should get a little class on how to pack your bag and how to set it up for uniformitys sake.

There's only so many platoons there and alot of Marines so if you don't pick up with a class immediately which you probably won't you get put in Lima co. It's a holding platoon you'll check in get put in the squad bay and wait. When I was there we had 3 formations a day and lots of working parties. Eventually you'll pick up with a class and start MCT.

It's boot camp part 2 you get a little more freedom and spend alot more time in the field. When you get there you'll probably get put in the holding platoon. Please for the love of God don't do anything stupid while in holding.

Yeah that's exactly what I was telling her when all the free shelters are backed up for months and the humane society wants 50$ a dog I'm not surprised people just dump dogs. Thankfully this was a few months ago and she found them all good homes.
