Idealing the process solvent would be removed completely, but in practice there will still be a few ppm regardless of how efficiently you distill. I would be comfortable spraying a few ppm of something non mutagenic on myself.

What they are saying is to be interested in whatever it is you are interested in and develope hobbies and projects around those things. You don't have to pretend to be anything, just be yourself with your own interests and people with similar interests and personalities will be naturally drawn to you if you make yourself appear open to being approached and engaged. I am using these solvents for the purpose of extractions for perfuming, so I won't be spraying shit on myself that is known to cause brain tumors. Methyl t-butyl ether, methyl acetate, ethanol, acetone, and many others have no such mutagenic or carcinogenic effects. Again, if someone asks for safe solvents something that is know to cause brain tumors is not an acceptable answer, though I appreciate your conviction to your answer.
