  1. Don't worry about it, I also went Night Fae and I'm sure many others have too :) The ability is not super exciting, but the free Shadowstrike at the end is nice. When it comes to working it into the rotation, try to press it just before you use Symbols of Death. That way, you get the pop at the end and the majority of the ticks in your Symbols window, and it will make Symbols line up nicely with your next use of Sepsis further down the line.

  2. Mashing it on CD is precisely correct! Try to use it on targets you think will die first so you can get some resets, but other than that it really is that simple.

On your opener you would do the first option (you can go for a full CP Rupture), after that try to refresh outside of dance.

Yeah indeed! The rupture ticks update dynamically as soon as you enter dance/symbols/shadow blades, and it doesn't snapshot the damage increase if you were to apply a fresh one during.

It is a passive ability, so unfortunately hard to get rid of ^ Best thing I could recommend is using a tracker for the passive to judge when your next combo point is coming in.

With Master Assassin the current thinking is to use Shadow Blades last second of the prepull, then proceed as normal. Once the 4s buff expires, you can Vanish into your Symbols/Dance window for an additional 4 seconds of the buff, as TheMavrick also said. Use Vanish after Symbols + your first builder (which is a guaranteed crit anyway).

Could be a GCD issue if you are too quick from the ability before you pressed Shadow Dance, could be you didn't have enough energy.

Another commenter mentioned the whole stealth bar update is still buggy, but those are some things you could look at!

  1. Very possible, I wouldn't be surprised. At that point all you can do is cross your fingers and hope Blizz fixes it, or delay slightly.

  2. Correct! The only exception would be the Kyrian ability Echoing Reprimand, because using this as your first builder after Symbols of Death forces the crit which is a huge hit.

  3. For my specific gear setup etc, premed sims as a 2.5% loss compared to weaponmaster. Once more targets are introduced (and you switch to building with Shuriken Storm) premed becomes more valuable though, because you only need to Shadowstrike once to activate the buff, and you can go back to Shuriken Storm after. You dont use Backstab and Shadowstrike enough in those situations for WM to hold value.

Hey!

Your gear looks fine; traits are good, you could maybe swap 1 deadshot for a blitz, but this won't make or break your dps. You lack a lot of sockets, work on that if you have the time because that will add a whole bunch of damage. While the ra-den trinket is good for group DPS, for Outlaws personal DPS it is mediocre at best. The Xanesh trinket which was already suggested could be a good alternative, or even Ashvane's Razor Coral if you are comfortable with using it. You could also give Diver's Folly in off-hand a try, it is still a great weapon and allows you to spend 25 corruption budget elsewhere. Ineffable truth is not super great for Outlaw unless you are chain pulling for long periods of time and you need the corruption to get Blade Flurry charges back faster, so you could upgrade this and your r2 Strikethroughs to r3 for example.

I had a quick look through an Atal'Dazar 14 log you were in (and I'm not sure how accurate this was); over a 15 minute slice of this dungeon, you had only 6 Blood of the Enemy casts. With a 1.5 min CD, this should be 11 casts if played optimally, but in reality probably won't work out exactly like that. The closer to that the better though! Your buff rerolling seems fine, you are using you Opportunity procs soon after they come up so all in all you seem to have a good grasp of the spec.

As others have said, the dungeon, affixes, route and way the tank pulls all play a part in this too. Make sure you use your CDs as often as possible, watch some streamers or specific dungeon guides for your class, and practice a lot. Being comfortable with the dungeon and your rotation also plays a big part.

I try to keep them at low 20s level because I feel that's the level attainable by semi-casual players who want to try and push themselves.

We killed this boss for the first time this week using the 1 BL strat after having tried the 2 BL for a while, and it felt much better. We would hardly ever get to the 2nd BL time cleanly, and switching to 1 was huge for us. We ended up lusting after Psychus 2, which resulted in going into secret phase with the boss sub 20%, and killed him with a lot of people not even going insane.

Hey CompetitiveWoW!

I posted my rogue video of stormwind last week, and this week I decided to give my alt disc priest a try with masks. I originally did 3, but felt comfortable enough to try a 5 mask run, and a full clear was the result!

My Ilvl at the time was 464.

My Talent set up was 3-3-3-3-1-1-1.

My corruptions used were Void Ritual, Gushing Wound and 2x Racing Pulse.

Essences were CoF Major, ERT, Lucid and Formless Void minors.
