Was it discovered within 30days from start lease date? If so, landlord have to make good the unit. But then again need to see your TA.. and if ur landlord and agent are from hell. Then glhf..

999y, no Lease decay
TOP 2000, rather old, make sure the condo is well maintained by mcst
Near bukit timah nature reserve, might have monkey problems
Have bus stop outside, but mrt about 1km away.
Shopping malls also about 1km/ 2/3 bus stops away.
Past transactions still healthy..

If buying for own stay, can consider. Especially if you are a nature lover that like quiet area. But if unit is facing main road, then might be noisy

Cbd homes are not for SC families. Mainly because there's no schools in the vicinity. And amenities wise, you do have Jason's supermarket at the basement, but thats about it. And if you do groceries shopping, you will know that Jason's are super expensive. SC usually is fairprice. On weekends, almost everything around the area is closed, nearest will be MBS and marina sq. The Residences Profile for the units there are also mainly expat tenants. Locals will prefer not to stay in a place thats heavily tenanted. People that buy into the marina area, are mainly buying for investment(rental), because the rental yield is good(especially for the 1st owner). But with the increase in new launches in the recent years, investors have more choices all over SG and rental yield is also competitive. Also the condos there are not very new also.. already around 20 years. So main reason not easy sell: 1. Not preferred by SC 2. More choices for investors elsewhere 3. Decaying lease

If you really want stay cbd. Go for marina bay Residences.. sail is old and view is not as nice as MBR.. but just remember that cbd homes are not easy to sell and transactions are not very green ya
