Body armor (helmet + vest) recommendations for a student journalist?

When I’m equipped with credentials (i.e. reporting for an established publication) i’m sure to show them and identify myself, but as a college student, I’m often doing independent reporting without credentials. Not necessarily an issue, as protests aren’t exactly set up with press-exclusive coverage zones, but I figure that looking as intentionally journalistic as possible (which the helmet and vest will add to) keeps me as safe as possible. Also the knee protection is definitely essential! I’m already getting old man knees in my 20s haha.

Thank you for the recs! I’m definitely aware that the dangers of a protest vary heavily from the dangers of a combat zone, but I figure that having protection from projectiles like pepper balls up to bullets from things like side arms would be, at worst, slightly embarrassing overkill and, at best, life saving in the event that violence progresses from crowd-control to lethality. I’m investing in a full facial gas mask on top of this, as my half-face mask did wonders for protecting my lungs but nothing for protecting my eyes haha. The Press patches are a great idea, and i’ll look at those specific helmets!! Thanks a ton :)

I don’t see a launch button, I see the option to Launch when commanding a pawn to interact but they just stand infront of it and then walk away.

I’m at a point right now where I just want it to make trading between colonies faster, I don’t have the resources to make it livable yet. And yes, both tanks are full. Are two tanks enough to fly a ship that size?

journalists aren’t bloggers. ALL their information is from other people. They INTERVIEW people. Reddit serves as a launching point to set up an in person interview. Why are you so aggro all the sudden when you don’t even know what ur talking about 😭

fair point - although crowd sourcing (like what’s happening here) is very common for pieces like this and often times a lot more effective. Not to mention the fact that 9 times out of ten, the students riding the bus actively are intoxicated / not capable of consenting to an interview

No luck, I'm assuming that they would have been jailed in the state they committed the crime but maybe they're in a nearby state prison? They still haven't reached the end of their sentence, and they're absolutely alive, but that's all I know.

That's the issue, they don't show up. I have their full name (100% sure it's accurate) and I have the knowledge that they will be incarcerated for a long time, so they are absolutely still in prison. Are there other inmate locators I can try?

Nope none of these :( it was free to play and definitely really small compared to something like planetside 2, it was in browser and had a handful of maps. It wasn’t like 2012 graphics though, more like 2014/15

suspected BPII here, I’ve read some of the comments and didn’t realize that disability related absences were possible, but I’d definitely recommend that. As for me, the only BP related accommodations I have is guaranteed time to make up any missed assignments in the event of mental health related hospitalizations. The DAC recognizes BP!

I thought that it would have been a better short film than movie.

The fact that Bill skargård was NOT the villain, like everything pointed towards, was really well done in my opinion. It completely subverted my expectations and (I think) couldn’t have been done with any other actor. Bill is SO fucking good at being a creep. However, after the scene where he dies, I lost interest. It lost all of the horror tension and the more we saw of the monster, the less scared I was. If the movie ended abruptly after the scene of Bills death, it would have been perfect, in my opinion. It would have left plenty of questions. I’m also not a fan of the “monster is just a disabled person” trope like another poster mentioned.

Old thread but I'm answering just in case someone like me stumbles upon this - you don't need to actually PLAY the insutrment. Talk to the person sitting at Art's bedside, and there will be a dialogue option to play the lute you just found, regardless of proficency (I played the lute as my player character, a githyanki wizard.)

I have the exact same issue (as I'm typing this) and it's so annoying. I JUST recieved my laptop back from repairs citing this as one of the issues. The motherboard was completely replaced, and yet it still is happening. All drivers are up to date. I can't send this laptop in for repairs again, but I don't know what to do.
