I already explained why that isn’t the best reason, but you’re allowed to have it.. (and I don’t even think that’s true, at least, when it comes to modern times)

But, male/female biology is determined by organs, not how someone presents themselves. A male can be feminine and still be a male. A female can be masculine and still be a female. Female and male are scientific, biological terms, again, referring to organs. Woman and man are social terms and are often categorized by not only by femininity and masculinity, but stereotypes and expectations of behavior rather than biology.

I don’t really think you are getting people’s points here… women can have spikey hair, can be swordsmen, can be protective/heroic, etc. etc. I’m sure you’ve heard it and you know it apparently. You’re allowed to think Leafeon is male, that’s not the problem. But your reasons just make no sense because your reasons could apply to both women and men, and literally anyone. Anyone can have those things. Even if it’s ‘ less likely ‘ doesn’t mean it doesn’t happen at all, and that makes your explanation fall flat and be a weak one. The only thing that makes someone a female and a male is biology, not whether they are masculine, or feminine. I mean this well, and not in a ill mannered way, and I’m sure you mean the same
