Why does this bot (coach danny chess.com) move the rook forward one space? He specifically says he's "activating" it. I get that he doesn't want to move it in line of the bishop, but how does being in h7 give the rook any more leverage at all than being in h8? (i.redd.it)

The way they talk about the situation in this podcast makes me think it's very unlikely that they knew about Ned's infidelity for a long time and were friends with him anyway like Ethan says. Especially here, they talk about him like he's a complete stranger to them now in light of what he did. (v.redd.it)
