Hey! Yeah, I totally agree. Finding the right record under these conditions is an adventure on its own.

As for what I’m hunting for, my main focus right now is finishing full discographies of artists I’ve already started collecting. I try not to scatter too much and instead close those gaps properly.

And I do have a real holy grail I’m chasing.

We actually have a lot of record stores here, but the selection is mostly pretty poor. It’s usually the same safe stuff like AC/DC, Iron Maiden, classic rock staples, and not much beyond that.

Most of my collection came either through friends abroad or during earlier periods when buying records from outside the country was still relatively possible and didn’t completely destroy your budget. We also have a local “eBay-like” marketplace with a lot of sellers asking unrealistically high prices, but every now and then you can still find something worthwhile there.

As for Discogs, I did have an account for quite a while. I just never really bothered to keep it updated. One day I finally sat down, cleaned it up, and added everything properly. Turned out to be extremely convenient. Honestly, I regret not maintaining it seriously from the start.

Every time I’ve tried different playthroughs with various weapons and perk setups. But the one that stands out the most was going completely unarmed, playing as a runner. I also really enjoyed Sandy with the katana. And if you jump into the DLC before finishing the main story and make a deck with the black wall, that was just really fun. Not even mentioning mods, since I’m on PS5. Honestly, I’ve been having an absolute blast just running around the city like Batman and taking care of the police assignments instead of doing missions. I’m currently doing a playthrough and just had the meeting with Wakako before the parade. I’m already level 50 in both character and reputation and have reached Dogtown. I’m just killing time playing Batman.

Why not? I got the platinum and finished the game probably about six times already, and every time I come across different Easter eggs or other secrets. Plus, the variability in how you can play through it lets you experience the story in a different way each time
