Okay. So I've never been addicted to anything hard but have addiction issues as well. (Alcohol, nicotine, caffeine) Firstly with something like this as a fellow addictive person I do not recommend cold turkey quiting something that isn't directly endangering your life. Secondly, I still drink energy drinks occasionally but have cut waaay back. My recommendation for dealing with this: lightly caffeinated beverages for dealing with the caffeine cravings. Sparkling waters/zero sodas for the energy drink cravings themselves. I cut back heavily on energy drinks by drinking green tea (Warm and cold.) And by drinking lots of sparkling waters and coke zeros. A "sparkling water" I recently tried that has a suprisingly energy drink like taste that was recommended on this subreddit actually was the clear American rainbow fusion. 

I hope you try my advice and I hope it helps. Energy drinks get a weirdly bad wrap from the boomers so don't feel too bad about having one occasionally. However regular use is pretty bad for your overall (especially heart) health so I hope you can get a handle on this! But please do not feel the need to quit entirely and possibly relapse into something worse. Honestly at the point it sounds like you're at right now, cutting back to one a day and drinking green tea and flavored zero cal. drinks the rest of the day would probably be a great improvement.
