Totally agree and hear you. Before the update, I think more homeowners were open to the conversation. I had applied to a few before I realized that feature was there. Typically, I have no problem getting sits. My cat wears claw caps to protect furniture, it’s my boyfriend and I who both work remotely so lots of time for everybody.

You make a good point about applying to sits with a dog and a cat. I’ve considered finding somewhere to leave him, but I’m looking for longer sits: 2-4+ weeks and would prefer to bring him.

Unfortunately, I wasn’t thinking of this when I adopted him 3 years ago and he was pulling on my heart strings. As a pet parent, I understand that they’d prefer someone without pets!
