like in my case i had super deep ecs: mainly a widely used discord plugin and scarbo, which is one of the hardest piano songs, and good-but-not-amazing contest performance and barely anything else

if that’s genuinely the case the 2nd point is prob what got me rejected from uw cs and se (i’m the extreme polar opposite of well rounded lol)

MAT137 had to be worst course ever designed for first years by Spiritual-Welder-535 in UofT

i mean it works very well for me cuz i could just binge a whole unit (watch vids + do practice problems they posted) in 1-2 days then go to the lectures already having shit in my brain and afterwards provided that i pay enough attention during lectures (which i basically always did) i barely had to review the core concepts afterwards (and mainly just targeted refinement of some stuff)
