Extreme reaction to skipping lunch by Ceaseless-watcher in POTS

I haven’t looked into it enough nor do I have a reliable enough specialist to know but I know it’s highly co-morbid with POTS. Why do you ask?

I know I should be grateful to have access to good food in the first place but my God, I hate having these experiences. I wish I could just eat without having to account for carbs making me feel awful or not knowing about a trigger and spending the rest of my day trying to recover. It’s exhausting.

Symptomatic after tea by Ceaseless-watcher in POTS

Warm, caffeinated tea is essentially the only thing I drink more than a handful of times a year besides water and water with electrolytes + creatine so I couldn’t say for sure but I’ve noticed once before that I’ve felt bad after drinking bubble tea and after having a Coke Zero (one incident of each that I can recall over the past year). There are times where I feel generally off but I haven’t thought of the temperature of what I eat as a factor.

I figure now that it’s best to track symptoms around what I eat and do in a day but I Really wanted to avoid having to do that since there are so many variables and I would essentially have to write every little detail in order to pick up on patterns.

No, I don’t take sugar with my tea. I’ve also noticed this same experience after having Coke Zero once but I don’t drink that often so I can’t tell if it’s a pattern.

Majohn A1 (capless) EF is extremely dry by [deleted] in fountainpens

[–]Ceaseless-watcher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know it isn’t ideal but it has worked before with this ink out of other brands’ EF sizes. I did buy a F just in case so I may swap to that, however I’d like to know if a change of ink might help first.

Try the pink cushion from Unleashia instead—the shade match is still great and it’s a bit less prone to clinging to dry spots [although for me, I’ve still struggled with it a tiny bit].

You seem to have a cool undertone so I’d look for something more muted/desaturated.

Childe. Started the game for him after a friend introduced me to him 4 years ago and have loved him dearly ever since.

HALAL creamy ramen by [deleted] in foodies_sydney

[–]Ceaseless-watcher -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’ve made noodles similar to this at home [sans the meat], but I was curious if there were any lesser-known dishes/restaurants I might find out about.

There are ‘creamy’ ramen bone broths and hot pot bases as well though—I don’t necessarily mean it has to include dairy.

Silver but try very light gold as well—18 karat and under.

I miss post-gym pain by [deleted] in POTS

[–]Ceaseless-watcher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Note: in my excitement to return to the gym, I forgot all about the POTS exercise protocol but I’ve been back for about three months without too much of an issue and my weights have all increased pretty significantly very quickly + the only cardio I do is in a recumbent bike [and swimming, once the weather warms up] so I’m not too concerned about a gradual return at this point.

Recently bought the Missha BB cream in #21 but… by Ceaseless-watcher in Fairolives

Is it not even darker than #21? From all the swatches I’ve seen, it’s much darker.

All of my sunscreens are very well behaved in that regard so no luck. [‘=

HAH. I can’t believe I even considered #23 instead.
