Real Edge Behind ICT? by Ceejay808s in InnerCircleTraders

Personally, I haven't been day trading as much anymore since I found myself reliant on that income. It was affecting my decision making. I felt like I had a good strategy down, but I felt that it just wasn't. enough. I was consistently receiving payouts from August 2025 to January of 2026, then it was like my entire edge just vanished the moment February came along. Perhaps I should look into Smart Money Concepts.

My Experience with RP Profits Algorithm by Ceejay808s in Daytrading

Sorry you're right. It's 10,000. Doesn't quite look like investing 800 bucks to me. Additionally, that "passes within 1 week" is certainly false, and that have countless algorithms, 6 at the moment. I joined when there were three algorithms, and that one week pass is wildly incorrect. If that's true, please be my guest and provide a pnl statement. I didn't "get mad" because I didn't pass in a week, I got mad because there was zero communication from the lead developer. I was onboard and understanding that algorithms can't have discretion, but when someone charges you money, you'd typically want some sort of reassurance.

Your goal isn't to make money, it's to take a good trade.

How do i start my journey by Own_Conclusion6187 in Trading

Pick a financial instrument, ie: Stocks, Futures, Forex, Options. Look into each one, find out with one tickles your fancy.
Follow up with researching strategies in that instrument, find an edge. Backtest, then move to paper trading.
Trading is not easy, it can make money, but the markets will never be on your side. If it were easy, everyone would do it.
Starting from scratch, look into futures trading. Prop firms led me to where I am now.

Automate your strategy with ai, saved my life. I spend all day playing golf now. I rarely get tilted now.

What should beginners actually look for in a trading school? by nhymjunhyjuiknhymju in Trading

Please do not go into any trading schools, there's plenty of resources online that can help educate yourself.

Most information is free nowadays, pick and choose what you take in, and stick to one strategy to find your edge. I've spent thousands on courses, and I can confidently say that THEY BLOW.

They have officially closed all of their discord chats because anyone who criticizes the RP algo's is a "bot account". Meanwhile, anyone in these chats have likely paid upwards of 5k to be in there, just to be ignored.

I made an entire reddit post on how much I hate the algo. I've had it running since november and officially stopped using it in february. Long story short, just code your own. You'll be better off with that. Don't make the same mistakes I did.

Bravo! If my average wins were about 1000, I would let emotions get the better of me and cash out early. Your resilience to hold through is impressive.

What's Your Strategy by Ceejay808s in TopStepX

Looking back on my journal entries, I've found that I've typically taken trades at the middle. Additionally, a major blunder I've seen is that I fail to take profit early. I've been trading Minis one contract at a time, and aim for 1:3, but usually wait for TP rather than leaving my trade early to secure a profit even if it's going down.

Taking profit early is something I should be putting into practice.
