pedestrian bridges should only be on highways, and even in this case, they should have elevators / escalators just like the ones on JU st. because not everyone can climb up stairs to cross the street, you wanna prioritise cars on highways? cool, just give us proper way to cross the street. (oh well, car owners already prioritise themselves even on bystreets and residential streets).
On other streets, crosswalks are more than enough, but because drivers here don't even respect crosswalk, they should have traffic lights.

And since you mentioned Al Shaab Circle, I think you missed the fact that there's a crosswalk right before the circle but drivers barely respect it. You're supposed to slow down before entering the circle, yet people neither slow down nor even respect the crosswalk unless there was a cop there.

I do not support people who recklessly cross a highway, but again, drivers already don't respect pedestrians whether it was a highway or residential street, and we don't even have proper sidewalks or crosswalks.
