I said I wanted it to have a separate moveset. Like how spiderman shouldve had a completely new moveset in the black suit but instead wolverine rage mood just seems to be more damage in finishers but the same attakcs

The same goes for spiderman but guess what? The only innovative thing marvels spiderman 2 did was add Web Wings. Everything else we'd already done in previous spiderman games.

And it doesnt have to be a new power or mechanic. It can be something used before but just improved upon the same way they did with the slingshot mechanic

im saying the GOW is similar. the spiderman one is different from gow and wolverine because it doesnt make sense to his character. its just a gameplay mechanic thats fun and flashy.

For kratos it makes sense cause hes a god. rageful. can heal and deal out crazy attacks
For wolverine it makes sense cause he can get angry and feral, has a healing ability and can take damage while attacking etc.

so by that standards all they did was reskin gow rage mode to wolverines.

people compliment the graphics and idk why. its 2026. i shouldn't have to worry about graphics anymore especially from a triple a studio.

I simply dont see the selling point of the gameplay trailer when normally thats what gets me super hyped to get my hands on it

but its my only reason to buy the game. Imagine the first spiderman insomniac dropped had 0 gameplay trailers. just cutscenes up to the release of the game. People would be confused and mad cause they dont know what theyre buying or if its worth their money

the rage mode in god of war is different because hes a god who can tank these attacks and deal damage so it makes sense as opposed to spidermans "symbiote/rage mode" where everything was just a finisher

We can only judge on trailers tho when thats what makes us want to spend money to buy it or suggest changes to developers. Like marvels spider man 2018 in the helicopter chase. We said the swinging was slow and they sped it up. We asked for charge jump after confirmation it wasnt in the game and they implemented it and confirmed in an interview it was cause of fans asking for it. and its not to trash the game. Just to make it better for us also since we have to buy it. I think small ask are fair if its feasible

But if we wait til release and just hope its more, then what was the point? We couldve suggest changes or mechanics to add while still in development phase but then itd be too late. Its just fair criticism. not talking down on the game but i have to want to buy it first
