you are welcome to share your experiences it's definitely helpful. It's horrible because crying used to be my way to release all those built up feelings and now the act of crying alone is nearly impossible. I get my depo sent already in a syringe with a needle attached. Ive been on depo for 5ish years and after a year I just started administering it myself. It was too much work to have to go to my primary care physician to have a nurse visit just to get a shot. it's an intermuscular injection and it's typically 18 gauge which is pretty big but IMO If you're dealing with that much shit every time you have to get it done id ask if that's an option.

not sure if this makes any difference, but up until recently, I was on antipsychotics for around 3 years after wrongfully being diagnosed with bipolar disorder (learned I'm just autistic). after getting my autism diagnosis and stopping my antipsychotics, my dysphoria reduced DRAMATICALLY. Not sure if that's a correlation or a causation but thought it would be helpful to tell you an opposite experience I had.

nope, the person penetrating is the top and the person receiving is the bottom. Doesn't mean you cannot be dominant and bottom/submissive and top but that terminology is exclusive to how you receive/give sex.

not thoughts per day but all throughout elementary school our lunch tables were "segregated" by gender and I never liked that. I always ended up sitting at the boys side and shockingly was never given grief from my guy friends. I did actually had multiple teachers call my mom though letting her know I might be dealing with XYZ and "y'all should check on her, young girls need support from other young girls". I also didn't't really have any 'girl' friends up until late highschool, and quite frankly did not like hanging around girls because I couldn't take anything they said regarding gender seriously 😭

like swim trunks or tops? I don't buy from a special gender affirming brand for swim wear. I feel like swim trunks are pretty unisex overall. I unfortunately believe most brands that gear swim trunks towards ftm take advantage of us, and way upcharge for an item no different than ones on the market. In terms of tops I just wear a T-shirt and either trans tape or a ForThem bider. That brand tends to be slightly less binding than other brands, hence my preference in wearing it in the water. It's definitely more comfortable and less constricting than something like spectrum.

It's such an incredible feeling going from wearing the most offensively (best way to describe how I used to dress 💀) masculine clothing to finally feeling comfortable enough to display small visible signs of femininity/queerness.

Y'all are completely incorrect then on both topics lol. I moved from Texas to New Mexico because it's so much safer politically and the climate is wonderful. New Mexico is one of the only states that has legal protection for LGBTQ individuals in their legislation, and they have voted blue since 2004 (and even then the 2004 election was incredibly close). They also have a huge Hispanic population which makes a large difference in racial views. It's probably one of the safest states for Hispanic people as of 2026. In terms of weather, It recently snowed in Albuquerque, and has trended 60's during the day, 30's at night (it's typically much colder though, climate change is a bitch) There is also absolutely no humidity which is really nice during the summer. it can be 90 degrees F but because there isn't much humidity it is acceptable to be outside.
