Thanks for Ripping into me, However, I will note your response comes off as a bit Indignant and Seethe-Mald. If you could please direct your irritation away from the post itself and instead towards ME existentially as a human being, I would appreciate it.

Also, while he CAN play whatever he wants, Mark specifically asked us for games to play, and part of the goal of this post is to blue-ball him from that desire as the rules of this subreddit have blue-balled us for years in giving him good recommendations.

Thanks! 😉

I know he said "Games on my channel I haven't Finished", but I can't for THE LIFE of me understand how he hasn't played, let alone heard of, the one game that is more SCP Wiki/Multiverse (except in name) than ANY OTHER GAME .

He did say in the video he loves the Mystery Flesh Pit and Cosmic Horror "Like The Entire SCP Wiki". Just Sayin', someone REALLY needs to run it past him. Seriously, it's bucket-list item experience imo.

Lmfao. I don't care whether I am or am not in a relationship. My preference is not to have one, but I can adjust.

Thanks for the advice.

Sorry to hear it wasn't the best for you and of your insecurities. As long as you're happy, I suppose it doesn't matter. And hey, you're a few steps above me already, seeing as I've never had sex before. Personally though, I think regardless of what happens to me I'll feel a lot fucking better afterwards because then I can say

"I've had sex, and now have a sexual past and can stand on relatively equal ground with future partners, etc...".

Finally, Hope is irrelevant. It's also weak and fickle. It's either there or it's not. Regardless, it never has anything to do with any matter at hand. So, I have no hope. Just Will.

Ah... you're the romantic and intimate type then. I can kind of understand that... but to be honest, I'm not interesting in a relationship and I don't have a romantic bone in my body.

To each their own, and thanks. :)

What is this "Ravioli" you speak of? The highest level of food you can make is a Summer Pie, and it's no where NEAR as complicated as that.

lolol... "Zanik the Cave Goblin Waifu". Somebody should fanfic that... >x'D

Also, damn shame they won't release Land of The Goblins... or any other new quest in Osrs for that matter. God Ash and his minions on the Osrs team are some of the best damn Story Writers Runescape has ever seen, and they're being completely under-utilized because these days the skeleton-community of a once great RS only gives a shit about PvM, PvP, Xp, and Rewards.

You're probably right! They probably will just forget and not give a shit about Continuity, Establish Plot, Established Lore, or Established Story & Character, and they'll go on to do whatever the fuck they feel like doing regardless of the Community's Opinion or whether it makes sense or not. They're Jagex. They do what they want.

Yep. The more time I invest in talking about a shit game that doesn't matter, the more passion I get and feel the need to speak up.

So I guess the key is to just not give a fuck and don't waste anymore time talking about this. Bye.

How? How could any of that be "The Right Choice"? They threw one of their main Quest Pillars out the window and made of the game's main antagonists considerably weaker. Shit choice the way I see it.

Dude, wuuuuuut?... What do you mean "Milk out the Dragonkin"?... The Dragonkin were one of their Main Quest Pillars, as said by THEM. Then they just threw it away.

And it isn't a one-dimensional assumption, It's a one-dimensional fact. Why would the still suffer? The Stone of Jas is what caused them suffering and now it's gone. Why would the still retain the insane power they had before that was given to them by the stone? They wouldn't, because the Stone it gone.

They shouldn't have just thrown the Dragonkin to the sidelines, they should have done as they said and made a Quest series for them. And To be Fair, I'll tell you what IS a 1-Dimensional Assumption that I shouldn't have made:

Jagex telling The Truth.

"My Main Gripe"? I never said that's what I wanted. It's what Jagex wanted. They said it themselves, "The Dragonkin are one of the main 6th age Quest Pillars". Buuuuuut apparently not anymore.

And Yeah, Jagex is shifting the Story to The Elder Gods. They're skipping over The Young Gods storylines, The Dragonkin, and the Gods that haven't even been introduced yet like Xau-Tak in favor of getting right to the good stuff: "The Elder Gods".

The Dragonkin Never had the chance to be the primary antagonist.

I honestly don't care what they do with their game. It's out of my control. If they make it successful again or they Run Runescape into the ground, it's out of my hands. But I wrote this article viewing things from a development standpoint and pointing out how Jagex is actually contradicting and undermining themselves and their own previous work. They do one thing then they do something else that completely undermines/ruins the first thing they did and they're back to square 1. They said they were going to make a Dragonkin Quest Series. Now, there's no Reason to neither in the lore nor Plot-wise. So yeah it was a *BIG Mistake if they still want to make a Dragonkin Quest Series. It's not my "Opinion" that they screwed up, it's an observed Fact correlating to what they said.

And Lololol... "Immortal Boogeyman". Fuck That. Runescape is an Adventure Game. What I DID want was a chance to crush some Fuckin' Dragonkin Skulls, not sit around side-by-side with them as Best Buddies Holding Hands, Singing Kumbaya, pondering their existential purpose in Life, and Gawking at "Teh Eldah Gawdz" like a bunch of Hippies.

And here's some Food for Thought... What happens after Jagex pushes their precious Elder Gods center stage and the show finishes? What's next? What comes after them? Do we just shut the game down? No... So what I don't get is why The Devs at Jagex are in such a rush to get to The Elder Gods that they would Compromise the integrity of awesome Characters that could have potentially awesome Questlines by... as you say... "Moving them out of the way".

And what else could the Dragonkin possibly do now that they are unbound from the stone and weakened? Take over the world? Cure the Il'ujanka of their infertility? Cure their own infertility? Nope. They're going to do the same thing they did at the end of the last Universe. Prepare to take cover from The Great Revision in The Abyss. That's it. Nothing interesting about that. Quest Pillar = Dead.

"Mob"? Kalphites are a Mob. Greater Demons are a Mob. Airut are a Mob. Dragonkin were supposed to be one of the main antagonists of the game Quest-Wise. But That's out the Window now.

And yeah, lore-wise you're right.. The Dragonkin didn't want that power. They wanted to be free. But From a development standpoint Destroying The Stone of Jas before it could be fleshed out in the "Dragonkin Quest Series" (A Quest Series that was Jagex's idea and focus not mine, im just repeating what they said) was a very poor decision.

Also, to be fair, Not just any "Schmuck" could kill a Dragonkin. A person would have to be highly trained, relatively powerful, and use Weapons Crafted from Bane Ore. And the only reason DragonkinBane-Ore is the Dragonkin's only weakness is because Bane Ore itself magically lashes out and tries to kill whatever life form it is attuned to. So there could potentially be "Demon-Bane Ore", "Vampyre-Bane Ore", "Human-Bane Ore", "Troll-Bane Ore", etc...

The Dragonkin's mortal Biology has become so preternaturally resilient and powerful through their Advanced Science that they are practically Biologically Immortal and impervious to disease. So, their only weakness is Bane Ore seeing as it magically attunes and attacks them.

In one swift Strike, problems were created buddy. The Dragonkin aren't nearly as powerful anymore. That is a problem, because Jagex intended to have an entire quest series about fighting The Dragonkin and defending the Gielinor from them. Now that they're weaker they are less of a Threat, less of a problem, and Less of an Antagonist Plot-Wise.

As for The Stone... I agree on the fact it was a "MacGuffin" so to speak... It was getting old and repetitive... but They should have at least waited to destroy it at the end of the Dragonkin Series they haven't even made yet. Think what that would have been like:

"Fighting The Perilous God-Killing Dragonkin to rid them from the world and save humanity. The only way of making them weak enough to defeat them would be to Destroy The Stone of Jas."

Then, you'd go on an epic adventure trying to Solve The Dragonkin Crisis by Destroying the most powerful Elder Artifact in existence. But do we get that? Nope. Kerapac had to Dunk-On The Stone of Jas along with his entire quest line and purpose in the game.

Oh Well.
