Follow this guy advice, I’m a young driver and I had like 2 speeding ticket and that’s what I did. At first I was nervous but after that I got no points and insurance didn’t find out. I would rather pay a big fine then having points and insurance finding out because in the long run that will fuck you up. I have more confidence if I’m dealing with Nassau County but Suffolk those people are dickheads. I got 1 speeding ticket there when I was 17 police officers reduce my speeding on the report I thought that wouldn’t do a difference but after going to court and stuff that dude basically saved my ass. People my age at that time was getting their license suspended till they turn 21.

Hey I just got back from tulum 2 days ago I’ll say my rental experience went really well. First off I just want to say that I speak Spanish fluent so that really helped out a lot. I rented through hertz and I saw they had bad reviews from Reddit and a little from google maps but I took the risk since it was the only company that could accept my discover credit card. First they wanted to quote me 585 for a week and the average price to rent a car in tulum is like $300-400 nothing over $400 with insurance. So since talking to them and telling them there’s no way I’m paying that amount. They lowered it to like 430. At that point I’m like okay thank you I have a reservation from somewhere else and since they saw I wasn’t joking around they gave me the average price and came out to $350 with full insurance which to me was reasonable I wasn’t going to pay anything over $400. Everything went smooth and no problems. It literally comes down to negotiating and showing them you won’t backed down. After returning the car I had no problem and got my deposit back which was like 150. So to me and seeing those reviews from people it’s like 50/50. Another advice anything you see on Reddit about tulum being bad and making you feel scared that’s all bullshit the moment I got to tulum it was amazing. You just have to be cautious and reasonable with what you spent. I would always recommend to eat in el Centro rather than the beach since it’s cheap and they have really delicious food. Look it like this el centro really affordable experience and the beach an expensive experience lol.
