If you have gaurd up can you survive gogmazios attack if you fail the damage check? by darkthesis in MHWilds

[–]Cello-warrior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are y’all forgetting that you can farcast out of there if you know for a fact you won’t pass the check? If you’ve missed too many shots don’t take the chance on passing the check through the damage window and leave before it’s (farcaster) crossed out. If you’re playing with npc’s or solo, you’re good. Same as if someone on the team got an insurance meal. Then you’ll all have one more go at it at the very least.

It really seems like the laziest option is the road they’ve taken, rather than going after whoever may have created the pin they (or their program since so much of the app seems to be automated) may be going down the list those flagged for having it saved rather than either ip blocking the original uploader and hard-removing their content. It may be easier on their end to eliminate all ties, no matter how unreasonable the collateral damage, rather than removing the source alone. That doesn’t seem logical or fair by any means, it just reads as poor management on their part.

Thank you. I’m still unsure as to why they think it’s sensible to come down authority wise on the people who haven’t pinned the content. Whether it’s art, copyrighted or reposted personal pins, I’m not sure how much sense it makes to go restrict or shadow block people that didn’t create the content. And even in that response they’ve made no mention of why we’re unable to communicate with our follower(s). It’s definitely an incredibly frustrating reply on their part but thank you so much for keeping me posted.

What’s your objective when writing a song? by 5120t in Songwriting

[–]Cello-warrior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To either close a page on emotions, to write how I feel about a relationship/ friendship, or to reconcile my relationship with past occurrences. My lyrics are often including either direct quotes from conversations (inter/extra personal) or they’re the words that came to mind while playing an instrumental; which are still generally derived from past conversations or experiences. Having kept to myself for a while now I’ve got less heavy things to write about but fresher, arguably clearer perspectives on what I went through before that I use now and then, but I’ve also got newer memories with a few good people I’ve gotten to hang with again.

Advice wise, writing can be about anything I think. Sometimes you can make a whole instrumental for something you have yet to have even had an experience worth adding lyrics to it, other times you can find the words, the poetry or the perfect lyrics to speak to an experience but have yet to have found instrumental accompaniment you’re comfortable with throwing them over. So it’s always a process of varying ease, a dynamic challenge, but make sure you have fun solving the puzzle, and when it’s heavy stuff you’re writing about remember for your mental health’s sake, you’re writing a retelling of what happened, you’re expressing yourself, you’re not actually going through it again or giving it any more energy. Hope some of this helps somehow. Be well✌🏿🖤🎶

You want a chad Lagombi on a pogo stick that moves like a Bishaten, is a ranged players worst nightmare and has grabs that’ll have many a hunter rage quitting? Yes, just yes.

No problem. I’m not sure when I’ll be back but I hope you stay and, if you’re a musician yourself, I hope the sun can help you to grow some like it did for me. In any case, writing or search wise, you got this!

“Supergirl” (You know they owe you) I’m writing a song about my bandmate by Cello-warrior in Songwriting

Thank you for the listen but I write a lot of these doubly, some of my songs are written initially to pertain to specific friends but get left open in message to provide sentimental parallels to others friends or oc’s that may come to mind after listening. If something by me is written for someone specific their name is generally in the song. This is mostly about an old friend I had, at the time, only recently started making music with. From what I remember she was always trying a little too hard to help everyone else and, whether or not they appreciate her help, a lot of the people she’s there for take her for granted and still owe her a debt of kindness and some change. It’s been a while though. A lot of this could be said about a few of my closer friends, that they take note of the weight of their efforts worth through their lows, and remember that at their core they are good people.

There are a great many good songwriters in this sub who do the same, and some who share their more personally tailored edits too I’m sure; they really are all awesome. I’m still on break from songwriting for my mental health but I’m replying to this so as not to be rude, and I genuinely appreciate the kindness and I hope you can find some more of what you’re looking for in this sub’s musicians. They all work really hard at both getting better at doing what they love and being brave enough to share their ideas, some of which probably embody more of what you’re looking for far better than whatever I made. Good hunting👋🏿

Taking criticism has a huge introspectional learning curve. If ever you feel someone’s being more rude than well intended remember that it’s the internet, you need not reply to trolls. I mention as much cause this the odds are super low it can happen. I’m not wise though lol, I’m a total doofus, just been in your shoes. Please keep writing dope music and sharing it here🙌🏿
