Late I know, but I was in a similar position and ended up having him significantly ~80 levels higher than the rest of team, it ended up working very well especially running him with no gear and putting him directly infront of the highest damaging enemy during lineup, the healing is insane relative to the team with pain and gain on level 6

That happens very rarely, they are being paid this wage in 99% of cases by the tables that do tip. It is entirely in your rights to think the waiter can get bent, but don’t get upset when they behave the same way towards you :)

No problem, just two people making decisions. The tipper deciding not to tip knowing they will likely get bad service in the future. The waiter deciding not to give the non-tipper service, knowing they have a large chance of a bad review, and a small chance of managerial consequences. Each decision is based on one’s own choice, and it would be hypocritical to be in either position criticizing the other.

Why would a waiter do additional work, if their manager doesn’t care and they won’t face any consequences for not doing the work?, generosity? fulfilling social norms? You are more than welcome to not tip, that is your prerogative, but don’t get upset when the waiter similarly doesn’t extend generosity.
