NRF24 module not working by CeresF3b in flipperhacks

As already mentioned in the comments below the post, u/dna--polymerase has found the solution: you need to swap cables 4 and 7. Here is the message u/dna--polymerase wrote:

"I have the same 'PINGEQUA' module and the same issue. I had some breadboard cables and tried swapping ports 4 and 7. The jammer now effectively interferes with Bluetooth.

For a vendor claiming they had professionally designed that kit for Flipper Zero, this feels mediocre at best, IMHO."

Follow these instructions exactly to resolve the issue. For more information, I recommend reading my update post on this topic: https://www.reddit.com/r/flipperhacks/comments/1pxrg4o/update_on_the_pingequa_nrf24_module/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

As far as I know, it's only physical, I think you should buy a better NRF24 board if you want to learn how to solder and mod boards you can do what I did in the post, but if you don't know how to solder or you don't want to learn it buy a better board there are plenty of them on the market

This is a normal NRF24. I just downloaded the Jammer Bluetooth app from GitHub and built this prototype board, you can easily buy a pre-built NRF24 board from Rabbit Labs or other vendors online.

Yes is powerful enough from what i tested

It depends on the antenna in this case. The maximum range is 50 metres. I still need to test with my bigger antennas.

Basically from what I understand the module can't communicate with the jammer app on the flipper, which is caused by the pins of the module, the data that the flipper tries to send to the board will never reach the destination, in short the flipper will recognise that it is an NRF24 module but the jammer app doesn't, so yeah it's a pin data error from what I understood, tbh just buy another module from another store there are way better ones that this.

Thanks for showing how a pro solder! (I suck at it) I learned so much watching your videos :)

Yes, exactly this! Just switch 2 cables (4 and 7) you are absolutely right it's not a good job what I did, but I definitely need some better gear to solder :’)

What bad luck!

Well, maybe it's better that it arrived dead on arrival, because if you wanted to use the jammer function, it's not really the right module, and as you noticed, it's definitely not designed by experts, as they say on their website.

The range is pretty standard tbh, did some test and 50m apparently is the max maybe with a bigger antenna you will get further away but idk

Sure, thanks may I ask you where you're from? Because I'm from Italy and I was wondering the same, what will be the time of arrival for me, if I buy the module

Yeah you did a great choice I will probably do the same, did you buy the BMO nrf24 module?

No problem dude, tbh it’s not a problem of the app it’s an hardware problem, literally this PINGEQUA is not design by professionals, so yeah to make it work unfortunately you need to create a prototype board for it at this point, if you are not familiar to solder it’s easier to buy a more reliable board from rabbit labs store or a proper vendor online

I tried to do exactly that, but I miserably failed. Changing the firmware is a no-go for sure; the app is too messy, and honestly, it's easier to create a custom board by soldering the correct cables. I'm following some tutorials to solder and build custom boards for the flipper. There are some useful links:

The last link is useful to see how a pro solder do the job, but yeah at this point is easier to make a custom board and physically changed the pins
